What happens if it rains on the day of an outdoor photoshoot?
Because weather can be unpredictable, if you have an outdoor session planned and the weather does not cooperate, we will contact you to reschedule your appointment.
What should I wear to a photoshoot?
When choosing your attire it is best to dress in clothing that is simple and comfortable. Coordinating with family members is important and so worth the effort! Not only will your images will be pleasing to look at, but the focus will be on faces rather than an article of clothing that just doesn't sync with the rest.
In the fall, select clothing that works well with the gorgeous fall foliage. Muted reds, maroons, oranges, yellows, browns, greens, and blues are all colors that can be found in outdoor surroundings. Muted colors, when paired together correctly with neutral khakis's and jeans, can provide a visual continuity with the outdoors.
Color palettes for spring and summer portraits can be brighter, as well as more vibrant and colorful. White is a classic color for summer beach pictures and can easily be paired with brighter hues or classic khaki and jeans. Another popular color scheme is to dress everyone in muted "sea glass" colors. Neutral and muted colors always work well with the soft hues of sand and ocean.
Whatever color scheme you decide, select a color palette that will work well with your family members for a look that is pleasing to all.
Please avoid any bold patterns, designs, or logos as they detract from the expressions and personalities of the people in the portrait.
My child received a scrape the day before our shoot; should we reschedule?
